Every report uses a traffic light rating system to make it easy to see which issues require action, which need monitoring, and which are in good order.

  • Home Survey Level 2 Survey – Ideal for modern or conventional properties in reasonable condition. Provides a clear overview of the building’s current state, including advice on repairs or ongoing maintenance. An open market valuation and reinstatement cost assessment for building insurance purposes is also included. 

  • Home Survey Level 3 Survey – A more detailed inspection recommended for older or extensively altered properties. Includes a more thorough analysis of the structure and materials used in the building and will highlight any necessary repairs and potential long-term maintenance concerns. There is no valuation or reinstatement cost as part of this report format. These can be added if required.
